Me and My Inspiration
I'm the kind of person that works alone most of the time on my art. Sometimes I ask my friends, or take from my life experiences for things I make. I usually try and find an unusual way to do something difficult. I like to think outside the box, but sometimes, it's not necessary. I like to make humorous art and I try to make or do things that wouldn't normally be done.

This website does a daily web comic and has really inspired me as an artist to begin making comics. I really like that they use Adobe Flash to create their works, as I do too. Many of their comics are adult-oriented and I really enjoy that about them, and the humor they put out is really right down my alley. They use a lot of text and subtext to say insinuate something else that isn't intended. There is also plenty of tension and release with awkward moments.

The same site as above also does animated comics every once in a while, which again is very appealing to me because I would like to be an animator and this is almost exactly what I would want to do. Simple animations only a couple minutes long, with humor and having fun in the process of making it. The website has about 5 or 6 guys that both write, draw and animate the comics, which is a small enough team to really get stuff done, get it done the way you want to. In the videos, they definitely use tension and release, as they do a lot of repetition of one thing, then stop with something funny.

The guys that do this series are also hilarious. They take a game engine and use it in a completely different way than it was intended. They use machinima to record things in game and make a sitcom about the in-game characters. The Red team and Blue fight a lot in the series. It is here that you can see the contrast and affinity between the two teams, as most of the time, they are equally as stupid and neglectful. Yet, they have their differences as characters.
